The more the fedgov expands and sinks its tentacles into our society it finds even more things it wants to "do" and "fix" resulting in even more expansion and taxation and a freedom-destroying rise in absolute government power and existence-threatening debt levels. We are simply witnessing the same phenomenon that collapsed the Soviet Union and turned Cuba into a poverty-stricken police- Socialism.
