Ineptocracy

A system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.

Obama Twists and Shouts

Rep. Virginia Foxx (R-NC)
said this:
“I have very little tolerance for people who tell me that they graduate with $200,000 of debt or even $80,000 of debt because there’s no reason for that,” Rep. Foxx said in a radio interview.
“We live in an opportunity society and people are forgetting that. I remind folks all the time that the Declaration of Independence says ‘life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.’ You don’t sit on your butt and have it dumped in your lap,” she added.

Here's what Obama said she said:
“I want to read a quote. This is from a Republican congresswoman. I didn’t really understand this. I’m quoting her,” the president said.
“She said that she has ‘very little tolerance for people who tell me they graduate with debt because there’s no reason for that.’ She said, students who rack up student loan debt are just sitting on their butts, having opportunity ‘dumped in your lap.’”
I think this is a good example as to how people like Obama twist other peoples words to get the reaction they want from whomever they're talking to. It can be as simple as leaving a word or two out, or adding a word or two. Changes everything don't it?

SPARK Thinks Parents Are Stupid

I have 3 children. My oldest is a 14 year old girl. When she was little she liked the dolls and "girly" stuff but as she got older she discovered bugs, trees and the great outdoors. She decided, on her own, that she did not like the "girly" stuff. She hated the whole pink and frilly thing. It's just not her thing, although we do reach a compromise when it comes to family dinners and such. Her decision.
My middle child is a 9 year old boy. He had the choice between the dolls from his older sister and typical boy stuff and he chose the latter. His decision.
Now, my youngest is also a girl. She's 6 years old. She had the choice between her older sister's dolls and her older brother's LEGOs and cars and baseball and she chose the former. She is ALL about pink and frills and ballet lessons. She's a total girly girl. Her decision.
It's all about choices. SPARK claims to be about giving children choices and options yet they are petitioning LEGO in protest of their new line of LEGOs. They feel it is too stereotypical towards girls and the role of women. We the parents make the choice. The children make the choice. If a girl wants to play with dolls and her easy bake oven she has that choice. If a boy wants to play with cars and guns he has that choice. Boys will be boys and girls will be girls, they can be whomever they want to be, they have that choice. SPARK does not decide what choices we have. SPARK believes that we the parents are too stupid to make our own choices. They think they can make them for us by deciding what products are put on the shelf.
The consumer will decide what products will be put on the shelf simply by buying or not buying whatever a company is offering. I was talking to my teenager's friend this morning and she said she doesn't like that LEGO changed the look of the people in these new sets. They're smaller and the hands are different. If she were into typical girl stuff, that would be the problem she has with LEGO.
Groups like SPARK want to limit our choices according to what they believe are the "right" choices. I will decide what is right for my child. My child will decide who he or she wants to be. No groups or organizations or governments will make those decisions for us.

NBC, ABC, CNN: Oopsies! Didn't Mean To Start a Race War!

So what do we have?
We have NBC admitting to doctoring a 911 tape. UPDATE: NBC fires producer who doctored 911 call.
We have ABC(and CBS),which initially reported that Zimmerman did not have any injuries noticeable in the police video now saying that they have enhanced the tapes and sure enough there are gashes on the back of his head.
Now we have CNN, which initially reported that Zimmerman can be heard calling Martin a F#$CKIN C#%N now saying they have enhanced the audio and it does not appear that he said that at all.
Oopsies.

What do have in Florida?
We have Black Militias forming.
We have The New Black Panthers putting a bounty on Zimmerman's head.
We have Al Sharpton calling for "civil disobedience" if "justice" is not done.
We have Farrakhan....
We have black teens beating up an old white man in the name of Trayvon.
We have the CBC introducing a resolution stating that this was a racist murder.
Of course, we have the Democrats.....wearing hoodies on the floor, calling for more gun control, blaming Republicans and Conservatives for the shooting...

"Without this racial component, without these Fake Media reports, you don't have a racial story here. These three media reports are the only reason we're talking about a racial story. That and the fact that the race industry saw an opportunity and jumped into it......the entire foundation of this story has now been blown up across three networks, by their own admission, after the fact, long after all the damage was done." - Rush Limbaugh

It scares the hell out of me that so many people, or should I say sheeple can be so manipulated.

I had many friends on Facebook voice their outrage and much more when they first heard these reports. I posited the question today of "what do you think now that the stories were wrong?" Haven't got an answer yet. The main stream media is practicing the art of race baiting and flame fanning and quite obviously working in tandem with the White House.

It scares the hell out of me and it's going to get people killed.

Oopsies. We didn't mean to start a race war.
Ya, you did.

Obama's New Fill in the Blank Miranda Rights

You have the right to have __________.

Anything you say or do can and will be held against ________ in a court of law.

You have the right to __________.

If you cannot afford __________, one will be afforded to you at someone else's expense.

Do you understand these rights as they have been given to you by Obama?

Just like we saw in Greece, a day of reckoning comes eventually.

The federal government is absolutely drowning in debt. So why don’t our politicians just explain to the American people that we need to start cutting back and reducing the size of some of these programs? Well, if any of our politicians try to do that they won’t get elected next time around. The truth is that the American people are deeply addicted to government money. Once you become addicted to getting a government check in the mail, it can be very difficult to give that up.  There are some that get trapped in a life of government dependence for years or even decades. (Of course, those who are promising all the free stuff will get all the votes from the addicts.) But just like we saw in Greece, a day of reckoning comes eventually.

The following are 16 statistics which show that the number of Americans dependent on the government is at an all-time high….

#1 According to the Census Bureau, 49 percent of all Americans live in a home that gets direct monetary benefits from the federal government.  Back in 1983, less than a third of all Americans lived in a home that received direct monetary benefits from the federal government.

#2 The amount of money that the federal government gives directly to Americans has increased by 32 percent since Barack Obama entered the White House.

#3 The number of Americans receiving Social Security disability benefits has increased by 10 percent since Barack Obama first took office.

#4 Back in 1990, the federal government accounted for 32 percent of all health care spending in America.  Today, that figure is up to 45 percent and it is projected to surpass 50 percent very shortly.

#5 The number of Americans on food stamps recently hit a new all-time high.  It has increased by 3 million since this time last year and by more than 14 million since Barack Obama first entered the White House.

#6 Today, one out of every seven Americans is on food stamps and one out of every four American children is on food stamps.  This is unprecedented in American history.

#7 In 2010, 42 percent of all single mothers in the United States were on food stamps.

#8 Back in 1980, government transfer payments accounted for just 11.7% of all income.  In 2010, government transfer payments accounted for 18.4% of all income, which was a new all-time high.

#9 By the end of 2011, approximately 55 million Americans received a total of approximately 727 billion dollars in Social Security benefits.  As the retirement crisis becomes much worse, that dollar figure is projected to absolutely skyrocket.

#10 According to the Congressional Budget Office, the Social Security system paid out more in benefits than it received in payroll taxes in 2010.  That was not supposed to happen until at least 2016.

#11 Back in 1965, only one out of every 50 Americans was on Medicaid.  Today, one out of every 6 Americans is on Medicaid, and things are about to get a whole lot worse.  It is being projected that Obamacare will add 16 million more Americans to the Medicaid rolls.

#12 The U.S. government now says that the Medicare trust fund will run out five years faster than previously anticipated.

#13 The total cost of just three federal government programs – the Department of Defense, Social Security and Medicare – exceeded the total amount of taxes brought in during fiscal 2010 by 10 billion dollars.

#14 It is being projected that entitlement spending by the federal government will nearly double by the year 2050.

#15 Right now, spending by the federal government accounts for about 24 percent of GDP.  Back in 2001, it accounted for just 18 percent.

#16 When you total it all up, American households are now receiving more money directly from the federal government than they are paying to the government in taxes.

There will come a time when the federal government will not be able to steal 150 million dollars an hour from our children and our grandchildren. There will come a time when there will not be enough money for all of these growing social programs.

So once the government checks stop rolling in, what is going to happen then?

If The President Has The Power...

So, if the President has the power to mandate that a private company provide a service(s) for free, and he has the power (via Obamacare) to mandate that all citizens buy a product and all employers provide a product, then he has the power to mandate all citizens and/or employers do, or not do...buy or not buy ANYTHING he wants. Right?

Hard work, sacrifice, and the freedom to rise

I had to endure listening to a “liberal” coworker endlessly lament the shrinking of America’s middle class because the rich were too rich. I finally had to intervene and correct his ill-conceived thoughts. I began by discussing America’s last wave of immigrants circa the 1900’s. We both agreed that they were incredibly hard working. Our grandparents were incredibly hardworking and frugal. Their parents even more so which continues with each previous generation. Hard work, sacrifice, and the freedom to rise created the middle class and hard work, sacrifice, and the freedom to rise created this nation, its wealth and power. What is destroying the middle class, I explained, is not the rich creating too much of the pie. Rather, it is an ever growing percentage of the population creating too little of the pie.
They are becoming ever more dependent on entitlements, hooked on government-provided services, and have to work less and less and less because our nation’s massive and growing safety nets now provide a cradle to grave decent living. A large percentage of our population expects a materialistically high standard of living yet doesn’t want to do the backbreaking labor, rigorous studies, penny pinching, or sacrifice earlier generations had to do to acquire it. We are succumbing to the warm feel-good of socialism and because of this an ever growing percentage of the population no longer saves for their children’s education, their own retirement or retirement healthcare, they no longer have to worry about where the food on their table comes from, who’ll pay their utility bills, or even the roof over their head. The audaciously aloof attitudes within our massive and exponentially growing low income neighborhoods is all the proof you’ll need to see that this is, in fact, a very real phenomenon.
As the horsepower of our nation’s workforce dwindles and they become more entitled, our nation will decline, government spending will continue to rise, and we will continue to veer wildly off our founding path by over-burdening and over taxing our shrinking pool productive workers, violating their Constitutional right to equal protection under the law and their right to own and keep their own property. As this phenomenon continues to spread unabated, we face a mortal threat when the unproductive dependents produce socialist electoral landslides who’ll use their unchecked power to turn the page of our nation’s history into something rotten. Much to my surprise, my “liberal” coworker agreed.
